become a voice
The project depends heavily on the input from contributors from every part of the world. To this end contributions from anyone are welcome.

Humanus Sonus is based on a set of questions that are universal to every person. Feel free to answer any and all of the questions posted below. Say anything. There are no wrong answers and varying viewpoints are encouraged.

How to contribute:

  1. Read these questions:

    • How do you view humankind?
    • What do you think or feel about love?
    • What do you think is the most relevant social problem?
    • What is your greatest fear? Why?
    • What is your opinion on conflict?
    • In terms of spirituality or religion, what do you believe in?
    • What happens when you die?

  2. When you're ready to answer, click on the "Add Your Voice" button on the messenger to the right.

  3. A small Java applet will load to allow you to record your answers and send them in. It will require you to allow the Java certificate to run. This certificate is perfectly safe, but if you have any doubts please contact us.

  4. For "Your Name" write your primary language, country of birth, and gender. Please follow this sample format: "english_UnitedStates_male".

  5. Enter an email address.

  6. Enter which question(s) you are answering in the comment box

  7. Make sure your microphone is hooked up to your computer. Finally, hit the "Record" button in the player. When you are finished giving your input, hit "Stop". You can listen to how you sound by hitting the "Play" button, or record over your answer by hitting "Record" again.

  8. When you are finished, hit the "Send Message" button. Your voice message will be sent to the project inbox and downloaded for use in the installation piece.
